1、 Classification of Electromagnetic Shielding Principles
According to the shielding principle, electromagnetic shielding can be divided into electric field shielding, magnetic field shielding, and electromagnetic shielding.
1.
Electric field shieldingIt is mainly used to prevent capacitive coupling between original electronics or devices. It uses a metal shielding layer to wrap electronic devices or devices, and its shielding body is made of good conductors with good grounding, so as to stop the electric field on the surface of the conductor and neutralize the induced charges on the surface of the conductor through the ground wire, preventing mutual interference caused by electrostatic coupling.
2. Magnetic field shielding is achieved by enclosing magnetic field lines inside the shielding body, preventing internal magnetic fields from spreading outward or external magnetic fields from interfering, providing a low magnetic resistance path for the shielding body and external magnetic fields, thereby achieving magnetic field diversion. The use of magnetic shields can effectively suppress the interference caused by magnetic field coupling between noise sources and sensitive devices.
3. Electromagnetic shielding is mainly used to prevent high-frequency electromagnetic induction. It uses the reflection of electromagnetic waves on the surface of conductors and the severe attenuation of propagation inside conductors to isolate the coupling between variable electromagnetic fields, thereby preventing interference from high-frequency electromagnetic fields.
At present, people have conducted research on different electromagnetic shielding materials based on different electromagnetic shielding principles.
