Analysis of PI bonded copper foil and PET bonded copper foil styles:
PI bonded copper foilCopper foil bonded with PET is a negative electrolytic material, similar to tin foil in that it is a very thin copper sheet. Copper foil is made by adding a certain proportion of other metals to copper, and there are generally two types of copper foil: 90 foil and 88 foil. It is the most widely used decorative material. Electrolytic copper foil is an important material for the manufacturing of copper-clad laminates (CCL), printed circuit boards (PCB), and lithium-ion batteries.
Copper foil is classified in different ways as follows:
According to thickness, it can be divided into thick copper foil (greater than 70 μ m), conventional thickness copper foil (greater than 18 μ m but less than 70 μ m), thin copper foil (greater than 12 μ m but less than 18 μ m), and ultra-thin copper foil (less than 12 μ m);
According to the surface condition, it can be divided intoSingle sided processed copper foil(Single sided hairy), double-sided treated copper foil (double-sided thick), smooth treated copper foil (double-sided hairy), double-sided glossy copper foil (double-sided glossy), and very low profile copper foil (VLP copper foil) copper foil, etc;
According to the production method, it can be divided into electrolytic copper foilRolled Copper FoilAnd leather copper.
According to the scope of application, it can be divided into:
Copper foil laminates (CCL) and copper foil for printed circuit boards (PCB): CCL and PCB are the most widely used fields for copper foil applications. PCB has become an essential component for the majority of electronic products to achieve circuit interconnection. Copper foil has become a key material for PCBs that support and interconnect electronic components in electronic products. At present, the vast majority of applications in the CCL and PCB industries are electrolytic copper foils;
Copper foil for lithium-ion secondary batteries: According to the working principle and structural design of lithium-ion batteries, negative electrode materials such as graphite and petroleum coke need to be coated on the conductive current collector. Copper foil has become the preferred negative electrode current collector for lithium-ion batteries due to its good conductivity, soft texture, mature manufacturing technology, and relatively low price;
Copper foil for electromagnetic shielding: mainly used in some fields that require electromagnetic shielding, such as hospitals, communications, and military. Due to the width limitation of rolled copper foil, electromagnetic shielding copper foil is mostly electrolytic copper foil.
