Conductive silver adhesiveWhat is it like? Where are they all used?

Conductive silver adhesive is a type of adhesive that has a certain degree of conductivity after curing or drying. It usually consists mainly of matrix resin and conductive fillers, namely conductive particles. The conductive particles are bonded together by the bonding effect of the matrix resin, forming a conductive path and achieving the conductive connection of the bonded material.

Because the matrix resin of the conductive adhesive is the adhesive, it can be bonded at an appropriate curing temperature. Meanwhile, due to the miniaturization of electronic components and the rapid development of high-density and highly integrated printed circuit boards, conductive adhesives can be made into paste like materials to achieve high line resolution. Moreover, the conductive adhesive process is simple, easy to operate, and can improve production efficiency. It is an ideal choice to replace lead tin welding and achieve conductive connections.

Classification of conductive adhesives:

It can be divided into various directions according to the direction of conductivitySame sex conductive adhesive(ICAS) and anisotropic conductive adhesive (ACAS). ICA refers to adhesives that conduct electricity in all directions and can be widely used in many electronic fields; ACA refers to an adhesive that conducts electricity in one direction, such as the Z direction, but does not conduct electricity in the X and Y directions. Generally speaking, the preparation of ACA requires high equipment and technology, and is not easy to achieve. It is usually used for fine printing of panels, such as the printing of flat panel displays (FPDs).

At present, medium temperature curing conductive adhesive (less than 150) is widely used both domestically and internationally. Its curing temperature is moderate, matching the temperature resistance and usage temperature of electronic components, and has excellent mechanical properties, making it widely used. UV cured conductive adhesive combines UV curing technology with conductive adhesive, endowing it with new properties and expanding its application range. Can be used for electronic display technologies such as liquid crystal displays and electroluminescence.

Application of conductive adhesive:

Conductive adhesive, as a substitute for tin lead solder, is mainly used in telephone and mobile communication systems. Broadcasting, television, computer and other industries; Automotive industry; Medical equipment; Resolve electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and other related issues. (3) Another application of conductive adhesives is the bonding of electrode plates and magnet crystals in ferroelectric devices. Conductive adhesives can replace welding. In welding, due to the welding temperature, flux and crystals are prone to deposition. When the welding temperature is unfavorable, bonding battery terminals is another use of conductive adhesive.

(4) Conductive silver adhesive can form a joint with sufficient strength, therefore it can be used as a structural adhesive.
