1. Formally confirmed! A large number of customized Huawei 5G phones will be launched! Huawei Mate50 with 5G is also stable
After the chip rules were modified, Huawei's mobile phone and other businesses were affected, mainly due to the lack of components such as 5G RF chips.
It is reported that starting from the second half of 2020, the number of new Huawei phones launched has significantly decreased, and most of the newly launched phones do not support 5G networks, even the Huawei P50 series phones.
In this situation, Huawei has sold multiple mobile phone brands such as Honor, Enjoy, Maimang, Nova, etc., and most of the 5G phones created by these brands have returned to Huawei's sales channels in the form of Huawei Smart Selection.
In addition, Huawei has also fully entered the field of chip semiconductors, independently researching and designing more core chips, including 5G RF and other chips.
The most important thing is that Huawei has cooperated with Dingqiao Communication, selling Huawei phone design solutions and Kirin chips and other components to Dingqiao, and then Dingqiao is responsible for building Kirin 5G phones and so on.
At the end of 2021, Dingqiao customized versions of Huawei Nova8 Pro, Huawei Mate40, etc. were exposed and renamed Dingqiao N8 Pro, etc.
Subsequently, Dingqiao personally confirmed its cooperation with Huawei to create 5G phones by purchasing chips such as Kirin, which will be sold at Dingqiao's official flagship store.
Formally confirmed! A large number of customized Huawei 5G phones will be launched!
On January 17th, another Dingqiao 5G new phone has passed the certification of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, with the model number AVA-PA00. This means that at least three Dingqiao customized Huawei 5G phones have passed the certification.
The most important thing is that currently Dingqiao has multiple customized terminals for various industries, including Mate, Enjoy, Maimang, Nova and other models. The key is that these devices will all support 5G networks.
In other words, although Huawei is temporarily unable to launch 5G phones, it has partnered with Dingqiao to bring Huawei's 5G phones back to the market through joint customization.
Although these 5G phones may not feature the Huawei logo after returning to the market, their appearance, configuration, and price are basically the same as Huawei's first launched phones, and may even be sold through Huawei channels.
Huawei Mate50 with 5G is also stable
Huawei has partnered with Dingqiao to launch a customized version of a 5G phone, which also gives Huawei Mate50 a chance to add 5G.
As we all know, Huawei has made it clear that it will not only release the Huawei Mate50 series smartphones, but also globally. This fully demonstrates that Huawei has connected the domestic smartphone supply chain and ensured sufficient production capacity for the Huawei Mate50.
It is reported that the Huawei Mate50 series may be launched in July this year, and at that time, HarmonyOS 3.0 system will also be released, which will be one of the highlights of the Huawei Mate50 series phones.
In terms of appearance, the Huawei Mate50 series will adopt a design with a central opening on the screen, and will use two types of screens: flat and curved. Among them, the Huawei Mate50 Pro series is a curved screen.
Of course, screen fingerprint recognition technology and a 120GHz adaptive refresh rate will also become standard features. As for the back of the Huawei Mate50 series, it has also undergone a new optimized design, but it still has three or four rear cameras.
Differently, the Huawei Mate50 will undergo a new design for its camera module, making it significantly different from the Huawei Mate40 series and more eye-catching.
In terms of processors, Huawei will be equipped with Kirin 9000 chip and Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip. As for the distribution form, the two will still be mixed, and the supply of Qualcomm Snapdragon version of Huawei Mate50 series will be more.
As for 5G functionality, the Mate50 series released by Huawei will not support it, after all, the Huawei P50 box does not support 5G networks, which indicates that the number of Huawei 5G chips is indeed limited.
Although the Huawei Mate50 series does not support 5G networks, Huawei will cooperate with Dingqiao to sell the solutions of the Huawei Mate50 series to Dingqiao, and then Dingqiao will create a 5G version of the Huawei Mate50 series, but the logo will change.
After all, Dingqiao has already collaborated with Huawei to create multiple customized versions of Huawei 5G phones based on Huawei's solutions. In the Huawei Mate50 series, Dingqiao's 5G customized version will naturally be available.
