The recommended aspect ratio for the padding is less than 1.5. It is best to be less than 1.0 (i.e. width ≥ height).

The general minimum width of the pad is 2mm.

The fabric of the FOF EMI pad has overlapping at the bottom. The general width of the overlap is 1-2mm.

The ideal compression ratio for FOF EMI gaskets is 25% to 40%. Ensure that the application always meets the required pad compression range. Excessive compression may result in compromised performance and pad life.

It is recommended to avoid improper compression of EMI gaskets during transportation and handling.

It is recommended that the width of the non-conductive PSA at the bottom be 50% of the width of the pad. If conductive PSA is chosen, the width of PSA can reach 85% of the pad width.

The position of PSA at the bottom of the pad can be located in the middle, beside, or other positions.
