New Platinum Research Product - Ferrite Cable Core

Used for circular, ribbon, and curved cables and wires

Research on platinum can produce various ferrite products for cable harness components and flexible cable components. These cable core products are mainly used for inductance and electromagnetic interference filtering applications. Depending on the operating frequency range, the following three (3) different types of materials can be used (please refer to the following text).

The following three materials are available for selection:

• High frequency | YB - Parts series (300 MHz -2 GHz)

Broadband | 29- Parts Series (30 MHz -1 GHz)

• Low frequency | YB - Parts series (300 KHz -30 MHz)

Split type, embedded magnetic core in plastic box

For modification and post assembly operations, Laird offers a variety of "split" magnetic cores. The performance of these split ferrite cores is similar to Laird's overall core design, with excellent common mode and differential mode electromagnetic interference suppression capabilities for circular cable and wire components. The black or white embedded plastic box ensures that the split type magnetic core is firmly fixed to the cable.
