1、 Definition

Hot melt composite is a new packaging process that uses hot melt adhesive to bond two layers of materials together, achieving the effect of heat sealing. The biggest advantage of this process is that it can minimize costs and increase the effectiveness of use without compromising the original material properties. At the same time, hot melt composite is also an environmentally friendly packaging material that can reduce the pollution of packaging materials to the environment while ensuring the original product performance. With the widespread application of hot melt composite technology in the packaging industry, more and more companies are realizing the benefits of using hot melt composite technology. The comparative study between hot melt composite technology and traditional composite technology shows that the quality of products produced by hot melt composite technology has been greatly improved, the product performance is more stable, and the cost-effectiveness is higher.

2、 Classification

1. Classified by raw materials: mainly EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer), polyethylene (PE), polyester (PET), polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

2. Classified by application field: EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) hot melt film is mainly used for packaging in the electronics industry, automotive parts, etc; Polyethylene (PE) hot melt film is mainly used for instruments, automotive interior materials, etc; Polyester (PET) hot melt film is mainly used for cosmetic packaging, beverage packaging, etc.

3. Classified by film production process: heat sealed hot melt film and non heat sealed hot melt film.

4. Stability in low-temperature environments.

4、 Usage conditions

1. Environmental temperature:- 25℃~ 35℃;

2. Relative humidity: ≤ 85%;

3. Operating pressure: 0.15~0.30 MPa;

4. Usage time: The shortest is 24 hours, and the longest is 60 days.

Attention: High product quality requirements, storage temperature should be between 0-45 ℃, and relative humidity should be controlled below 15%. The storage time should not exceed one year. The product packaging requires packaging in bags and clamping with sealed clips to avoid contact with air and direct sunlight. During transportation, the goods should be kept clean and dry to prevent moisture, deformation, and damage.

5、 Precautions

1. Do not use this product in an environment above 60 ℃ to prevent the degradation of the hot melt film due to high temperature.

2. Please preheat the product thoroughly before use to avoid damage to the material caused by high temperatures. Please keep the surface of the film dry and clean during use.

3. Please wrap the packaging film with plastic film or newspaper and secure it with tape after use. Because the product itself is prone to contaminating the packaging, plastic film or newspaper can easily accumulate dust during transportation and contaminate the packaging materials during storage. Therefore, it is necessary to place the packaging in a plastic box after completion and seal the packaging film and box with tape.

4. Damaged materials cannot be repaired. If repair is required, please reinforce the damaged area with tape.

5. The packaging film and packaging box should not be transported or stored together in the same vehicle to avoid affecting their effectiveness.
