The application of boron iron alloy film in magnetron sputtering technology on polyimide (PI) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates not only increases the mechanical strength and heat resistance of the materials, but also expands the application fields of boron iron alloy film, providing new possibilities for the development of flexible magnetic devices.
Magnetic materials have a wide range of applications in the field of electronics, such as magnetic recording media, sensors, magnetic storage devices, etc. The boron iron alloy film has become a research hotspot in the field of magnetic materials due to its high saturation magnetic induction intensity, low coercivity, and good chemical stability. However, the preparation technology of boron iron alloy film has always been one of the focuses of scientific researchers. Although traditional sputtering technology can produce high-quality boron iron alloy film, it is difficult to achieve on flexible substrates.
The use of magnetron sputtering technology to deposit boron iron alloy films on PI and PET substrates can not only overcome the difficulties of traditional sputtering technology on flexible substrates, but also maintain the excellent magnetic properties and chemical stability of boron iron alloy films. This composite material not only has high magnetic saturation induction intensity and low coercivity, but also has good flexibility and heat resistance, which can be applied in fields such as flexible magnetic storage devices, magnetic sensors, and magnetic recording media.
From the experimental data, it can be seen that the boron iron alloy film prepared on PI and PET substrates exhibits excellent magnetic and mechanical properties. For example, a recent study has shown that applying boron iron alloy films to PI substrates can achieve a saturation magnetic induction intensity of 3000 Oe and a magnetic permeability of 1.5 kOe, demonstrating excellent soft magnetic performance; The magnetic permeability of boron iron alloy film applied to PET substrate can reach 2.0 kOe, with good magnetic properties. These data indicate that PI and PET magnetron sputtered boron iron alloy films have broad application prospects in the field of flexible magnetic devices.
