The advantage of PDS is that it can directly print circuits without the need for special laser modified materials, which can significantly reduce costs. It is difficult to handle in antenna design that circuit conductivity can be achieved in both corner and through-hole structures.

Given the high cost of investment in LDS technology and laser equipment, the commonly used mobile phone material PC cannot be used and special specialized raw materials must be used. The price of LDS antenna products is several times more expensive than ordinary antennas, and the bottleneck restricting the development of LDS lies in the high fixed investment of laser machines (3 million yuan/unit for single head and 6.5 million yuan/unit for three heads).
