YB series thin, free space resonant absorbing materials with a usable frequency range of 1GHz to 18GHz

YB is a series of thin, free spaceResonant absorbing materialsThe available frequency range is 1GHz to 18GHz. At the design frequency (2-18GHz), when tightly adhered to a metal surface, these magnetic materialsNarrowband absorbing materialsReflect 1% or less of the normal incident energy (at least a decrease of 20dB). When the frequency is between 1GHz and 2GHz, the resonant frequency reflectivity decreases slightly by less than -20dB. According to special order requirements, these absorbing materials also offer products above 18GHz.

YB is particularly suitable for thin materials and applications that do not require broadband performance. In order to function properly, YB should be tightly adhered to the metal surface. If necessary, a fully reflective substrate (ML) and pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) can be provided to ensure easy adhesion.

Applications include radar nacelle liners (especially in high-power environments), back cavity antennas, and shielded communication antennas, metal liners for reducing surface currents, and liner magnetron shielding architectures to prevent misalignment.

At the same time, YB-U series polyurethane rubber sheets are also available for selection.
