Hot melt sealant, also known as hot construction sealant. A sealant based on a blend of elastomer and thermoplastic resin. This type of sealant is usually extruded directly into the joint through a certain mouth shape under heating (150-200 ℃). Hot construction can improve the wetting ability of sealant to the adhesive base material, thus having good adhesion to most adhesive base materials. Once placed in the appropriate position, it cools and forms a strong elastic material with minimal shrinkage or film formation.Hot construction sealantThe main materials are isobutene polymers, EPDM rubber, and thermoplastic styrene block copolymers.
