Advanced Institute of Science and Technology studied the structure and properties of PET non-woven silver film. Four different thicknesses of Ag films, 25, 50, 75, and 100 nm, were prepared on PET silver plated non-woven fabric substrate by magnetron sputtering at room temperature. X-ray diffraction analysis of the film microstructure revealed that the prepared Ag films were polycrystalline and had a face centered cubic crystal structure; As the film thickness increases, the average grain size of the film gradually increases The spectral and conductivity tests of the film indicate that there is a critical film thickness for PET based silver film. Within the critical film thickness range, as the film thickness increases, the reflectivity of the film sharply increases and the transmittance rapidly decreases. However, after reaching the critical film thickness, the changes in reflectivity and transmittance with film thickness tend to flatten out; With the increase of film thickness, the conductivity of the film is significantly improved
Using direct current magnetron sputtering technology PI silver plated filmThe Ag film was deposited on the surface of non-woven fabric, and the influence of magnetron sputtering process parameters on its electromagnetic shielding effectiveness (SE) was analyzed using orthogonal experimental method. The results showed that the order of the influence of magnetron sputtering process parameters on the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness was sputtering power, sputtering time, and sputtering pressure; The optimal process parameters are 30W, 15min, 0.5Pa, and the average shielding efficiency reaches 39.37dB in the frequency range of 30M~1.5GHz Further analysis of its physical structure characteristics and surface state using various characterization methods showed that Ag forms a dense and evenly distributed film on the surface of PET fibers, with good crystallization properties, and exists in the form of elemental silver
