1. 833.43 million yuan, Huawei wins another large order from China Unicom, Ericsson is eliminated
On January 22nd, Huawei recently announced its total revenue for last year, which decreased by more than 250 billion yuan compared to the previous year. Among them, the consumer business experienced the biggest decline, as Beautiful Country restricted Huawei HiSilicon's chip outsourcing and blocked the purchase of 5G chips, resulting in a serious chip shortage for Huawei. There were not many available chips for Huawei smartphones, and the market share was also divided among other competitors. Not only that, Huawei's 5G business was also greatly affected.
2、 Beautiful country's suppression is too thorough, Huawei is overtaken by Nokia Ericsson
We all know that Huawei's 5G technology, with the world's largest core patent reserves, has the highest discourse power, high cost-effectiveness, good security performance, and easy installation. It is not surprising that most countries around the world choose Huawei to build 5G networks. It is unexpected that beautiful countries do not want to see Huawei grow stronger and dominate the global communication field.
Since May 2019, Beautiful Country has demanded that other allied countries exclude Huawei 5G on the grounds of so-called cybersecurity threats. In addition, Beautiful Country has invited global technology giants, communication giants, software giants, such as Samsung, Nokia, Ericsson, Vodafone, Qualcomm, Apple, Intel, etc., to form a 5G open alliance to jointly develop so-called 5G standard products, with the aim of avoiding Huawei's 5G core patents and diluting Huawei's 5G discourse power.
Under multiple crackdowns in the beautiful country, Huawei's 5G orders have also been surpassed by Nokia Ericsson. As of January 22, Huawei's 5G overseas orders still remain at 91, while Nokia has surpassed 167 and Ericsson has reached 150, with a growing lead. Although overseas markets have been heavily suppressed, Huawei's 5G has won a great victory in the domestic market, significantly leading Nokia and Ericsson.
3、 833.43 million, Huawei wins another large order from China Unicom
Especially after entering 2021, the four major domestic telecom operators have expressed their intention to increase the bid share of Huawei and ZTE, significantly reducing the share of other overseas brands. Therefore, we have also seen that in the multiple bidding processes last year, Huawei won the highest market share, followed by ZTE, and Ericsson and Nokia either all accompanied or won less than 3% of the bid share.
Based on the results of several winning bids last year, Huawei has received orders worth at least 40 billion yuan, ZTE has nearly 20 billion yuan, and Ericsson and Nokia have a total of less than 3 billion yuan. It should be noted that before 2021, Nokia and Ericsson both had a market share of around 20%, with an annual order total of no less than 18 billion yuan.
Recently, Huawei won another large bid from China Unicom for 833.43 million yuan. After entering 2022, the four major domestic telecom operators continued to maintain bidding rules, allowing domestic manufacturers such as Huawei and ZTE to win a large number of bids, while overseas brands such as Ericsson and Nokia won a small number of bids or accompanied them. On January 19th, China Unicom announced a bidding result for the 2021 access router bidding, and Huawei unsurprisingly won the first place with a bid price of over 833.43 million yuan.
ZTE won second place with a bid price of over 624.58 million yuan, Nokia won third place with a bid price of 652.45 million yuan, and Ericsson was directly eliminated.
4、 Ericsson is eliminated, Nokia narrowly wins bid
Many netizens may wonder why Nokia became a candidate for winning the bid and ultimately secured an order? Originally, there was an unexpected situation with China Unicom's bidding rules this time. According to China Unicom's bidding rules, if the bid amount of the third ranked candidate is greater than 0.93 times the average bid of the top two candidates in the comprehensive ranking, then the top two candidates will win the bid. If the bid amount is less than 0.93 times the average bid of the top two candidates in the comprehensive ranking, then the third candidate will also win the bid.
According to the final bid amount calculation, Nokia ranks third overall with a bid amount of approximately 652.45 million yuan. Huawei, ranked first overall, has a bid amount of 833.43 million yuan, while ZTE, ranked second overall, has a bid amount of 624.58 million yuan. After calculating the average bid price, Nokia's bid price is approximately 729 million yuan. Therefore, Nokia's bid price is about 0.895 times the average bid price, which is less than 0.93 times the average bid price. Therefore, it is regrettable that Nokia narrowly won the bid. It should be noted that Nokia's bid price is about 30 million yuan more than ZTE's bid price.
