Hello everyone, 2022 is coming soon. I extend New Year's greetings to everyone in Beijing!

Looking back on this year, the significance is extraordinary. We have witnessed significant milestones in the history of the Party and the country. The historical intersection of the two centenary goals has opened a new journey for us to comprehensively build a socialist modernized country, and we are walking confidently on the road to realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

From the beginning to the end of the year, farmland, enterprises, communities, schools, hospitals, military camps, research institutes... everyone has been busy for a whole year, giving, dedicating, and reaping rewards. In the fleeting time, the China we see and perceive is a resilient and thriving China. Here, there are friendly and respectable people, rapid development, and a cause that continues to be inherited.

On July 1, we solemnly celebrated the centennial of the founding of the CPC. Standing on the Tiananmen Gate tower, we were filled with emotion. The historical journey was turbulent, and the CPC led hundreds of millions of people to persevere through thousands of difficulties, and to persevere through thousands of risks, achieving the magnificent atmosphere of a century old party. Never forget why you started, and your mission can be accomplished. We can only live up to history, the times, and the people with determination and diligence.

The Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China passed the third historical resolution of the Party. I researched some places and listened to a lot of information, which was very inspiring and rewarding. Every time I go to the homes of the masses, I often ask if there are any difficulties left, and I keep in mind the words of my fellow villagers.

I will consider the concerns of the people; I will fulfill the expectations of the people. I also come from the countryside and have a firsthand experience of poverty. After generations of continuous efforts, people who used to be poor can now have enough to eat, wear warm clothes, have access to education, housing, and medical insurance. Comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society and eliminating poverty is our party's mission to the people and our contribution to the world. To ensure a better life for everyone, we cannot be satisfied with our current achievements. There is still a long way to go.

The safety of the Yellow River is the millennium long hope of the Chinese people. In recent years, I have traveled to 9 provinces and regions in the upper, middle, and lower reaches of the Yellow River. Whether it is the "mother river" of the Yellow River and Yangtze River, or the rippling Qinghai Lake, or the magnificent the Yarlung Zangbo River; Whether it's the Century Project of the South to North Water Diversion Project or the "Green Map" of the Saihanba Forest Farm; Whether it's Yunnan elephants heading north and south, or Tibetan antelopes reproducing and migrating... these all indicate that people do not disappoint the green mountains, and the green mountains will definitely not disappoint people.

This year, there were many unforgettable Chinese voices, moments, and stories. The youthful oath of 'Please rest assured, the strong country has me', and the heartfelt confession of 'Clear love, only for China'; Zhurong explores fire, Xihe shines day by day, and Tianhe roams the stars; Athletes are full of passion and strive to be the first; The national epidemic prevention and control measures are resolute and effective; Disaster stricken people help each other rebuild their homes; The soldiers of the People's Liberation Army and the officers and soldiers of the People's Armed Police Force are determined to strengthen the army and defend the country... Countless ordinary heroes have fought hard and converged into the surging tide of China's vigorous progress in the new era.

The motherland has always been concerned about the prosperity and stability of Hong Kong and Macau. Only through solidarity and joint efforts can 'One Country, Two Systems' achieve stability and long-term success. Realizing the complete reunification of the motherland is the common aspiration of compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. When I communicated with foreign leaders and heads of international organizations by phone and video, they repeatedly praised China's efforts in fighting against the epidemic and its contributions to global epidemic prevention and control. Up to now, China has provided 2 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccine to more than 120 countries and international organizations. Only through solidarity and cooperation among countries around the world can we write a new chapter in building a community with a shared future for mankind.

In just over a month, the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics will open. Encouraging more people to participate in ice and snow sports is also the essence of the Olympic Games. We will wholeheartedly dedicate an Olympic Games to the world. The world expects China, and China is prepared.

The New Year's bell is about to ring. Our three astronauts are on a business trip in the vast expanse of space, while our overseas compatriots are still working hard.
