1、 Overview
Low temperature co fired ceramic (LTCC) technology is an advanced electronic packaging technology that integrates various electronic components and circuits on multi-layer ceramic substrates and performs co firing at lower temperatures (usually below 900 ℃). Internal electrode conductive gold pasteIt is mainly composed of gold particles, inorganic additives, carriers, additives, and solvents mixed in a certain proportion. Among them, gold particles, as the main conductive material, usually have a content between 70% and 92%. Inorganic additives are used to improve the properties of the slurry, such as enhancing the co firing compatibility and printability after sintering. The carrier is used to adjust the viscosity and flowability of the slurry, making it easy to operate during the printing process. Additives and solvents play an auxiliary and regulatory role.
Internal electrode conductive gold pasteThe preparation process is relatively simple, but requires precise control of the proportions of each component and the mixing process. Firstly, mix gold particles, inorganic additives, carriers, additives, and solvents in a certain proportion to form a uniform slurry. Then, the slurry is printed onto the LTCC ceramic tape using methods such as screen printing to form the desired electrode pattern. Finally, the ceramic strip is sintered together with the electrode to form a complete LTCC electronic device.
The performance requirements of conductive gold paste for internal electrodes mainly include the following aspects:
1. Conductivity: Gold paste should have good conductivity to ensure the normal operation of electronic devices.
2. Co firing compatibility: There should be good co firing compatibility between the gold paste and LTCC ceramic strip to reduce deformation and cracking during the sintering process.
3. Printability: Gold paste should have good printing performance to form clear and accurate electrode patterns on the raw ceramic tape.
